EcoVadis has grown to become the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, and the world’s economy looks to CDP as the gold standard of environmental reporting, so Trace3 is incredibly proud to participate in both questionnaires on an annual basis. We continue to participate in the K-Cycle K-Cup Pod Recycling Program and utilize Organic and Recycling Waste Collection Services. As well, we partner with Comprenew and other e-waste pick-up services to refurbish and reuse retired electronic devices and annually participate in local Earth Day initiatives. Trace3 also communicates our progress towards our sustainable development goals company-wide via our quarterly Business Services & Sustainability newsletter.
In 2023, Trace3 was awarded a Bronze medal in recognition of sustainability achievement from the EcoVadis Sustainability Ratings Assessment and achieved a Sustainability Certificate from Switch for using 100% Renewable Energy within the Switch ecosystem.

To assist with reporting on our GHG emissions, the utilization of the Watchwire sustainability and energy management tool aids in utility tracking at our facilities across the country. For all our Trace3 facilities, we’ve historically gravitated towards LEED or Energy Star certified buildings whenever possible. We continue to work directly with the landlords of these buildings and have them provide us with proof of these certifications and their documented environmental programs.
In addition to supporting our own goal of reducing Trace3carbon emissions, our products and services, continued investment in the transformation toward cloud computing, virtual server expansion, and energy-efficient methods for data backup and purging enable our customers to be more energy efficient, ultimately supporting their climate change strategies.
To further support our sustainability goals, in addition to tracking electric, gas and water utilities through Watchwire as we have since its implementation, we will be adding waste tracking for any facilities where this is an option. This would include tracking the weight of used K-Cups through the Keurig K-Cycle program, e-waste pick-ups, and cardboard recycling.
