Recap of the 2014 Trace3 Arizona Golf Event
By Paul Wiederkehr, Trace3
Trace3 celebrated the 8th annual Arizona Golf Tournament without a hitch or should I say hook? Together with our customers and partners, we spanned out across every hole on the golf course preparing to drive, chip, and putt our way to victory. Compared to the ASU Karsten Golf Course, Mother Nature was kind providing us some light cloud cover which made for a beautiful day. The annual event was generously supported by our business partners: Juniper, EMC, NetApp, Symantec, F5, Riverbed, Simplivity, Hitachi, Avnet, and Aruba. Thank you.
Nearly 100 golfers and volunteers descended on the course early Friday morning with excitement and anticipation. The great news early Friday morning – mulligans were available for purchase benefiting the Susan G. Komen charity. With eager eyes, the business community of Arizona thoughtfully contributed to a great cause while perhaps augmenting their chances to lower their score on the challenging golf course. One of our participants, Bank of America, was extremely generous and matched the each contribution generating a total of $1,600.00 for the Susan B. Komen charity. Thank you to everyone that helped Trace3 raise money for a very deserving charity.
While golf balls may have been lost or misplaced throughout the day, no one lost their great attitude. After the final putts were played, all headed to the 19th hole for food & drink. During the reception, the best teams were congratulated and awarded trophies while various prizes were presented to many of our guests. Certainly a good time was enjoyed by all. Hopefully everyone is excited to come back next year to the 2015 Trace3 Arizona Annual Golf tournament
